Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s serenade “Eine kleine Nachtmusik” is one of the most famous and beloved works in classical music, familiar to almost everyone from its opening bars. Its sparkling and carefree character, perfectly polished form, and memorable melodies make it an unsurpassed masterpiece that is wanted to be performed and listened to again and again. In addition to the joyful and energetic first movement, the serenade includes a lyrical romance and a charming minuet, concluding with a captivatingly rhythmic finale.

Alongside Mozart’s masterpiece, the concert will present other valuable works by Vivaldi, Saariaho, Boccherini, and Vasks, performed by the esteemed violin soloist, ensemble member, concertmaster of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ERSO), and lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (EMTA), Triin Ruubel, along with young and talented string players from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. The orchestra also features acclaimed string players Mairit Mitt-Bronikowska (viola), Liina Žigurs (viola), Theodor Sink (cello), and harpsichordist Reinut Tepp.

The concert is presented in collaboration with the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
