NOËP and Sander Mölder

NOËP, who was announced the best male artist and pop-artist of the year at the Estonian Music Awards 2022, will give the first ever pop concert at the Grand Hall of the newly launched Viimsi ARTIUM. NOËP will perform together with the DJ Sander Mölder and his band.

NOËP is an internationally acclaimed electronic indie-pop music artist, while Sander Mölder, with a background in classical music, is an Estonian cellist and music producer. Sander has become one of the best-known names on the Baltic electronic music landscape.

Duration of the event 2.5 hours from 9 PM – 11.30 PM.

NOËP

NOËP takes to the stage loaded with energy. Just a few beats from his electronic pads and he’s got the audience wrapped around the finger. “I’m here to enjoy every moment of it,” says Andres Kõpper, the
Estonian singer-songwriter/producer. NOËP unites the disparate sounds of Alt-J, Jose Gonzales and Mura Masa in his adventurous hybrid of electro-pop energy and intimate songwriting. It’s a style that’s
already made him a star in his homeland, where he won Pop Album of the Year at the Estonian Music Awards for his debut EP ‘Heads In The Clouds’.

Hailing from Tallinn, NOËP first came to attention with the tracks ‘Move’, ‘Rooftop’ and ‘New Heights’, released thorough SONY Sweden. The ‘Head In The Clouds’ EP then cemented his reputation as a rising
artist proposition and a naturally engaging live performer. NOËP’s single ‘fk this up’ was released through Warner Music Italy and quickly scored its biggest success out there, becoming a huge radio hit.

His burgeoning reputation is growing internationally too, with captivating live performances everywhere from Berghain to Beirut via the Musée d’Orsay in Paris and The Great Escape. Along the way, he’s also supported Bastille and Netsky. His live shows are as attention grabbing and emotive as the recorded music. Kõpper is a charismatic performer, equally capable of breaking into dance with the audience as
well as drawing them in for moments of intimacy.

Sander Mölder

Classically trained Estonian composer and a cellist, producer and a DJ Sander Mölder has become one of the household names in the Baltic electronic music scene. He has amassed a notable following around
Europe and is known by his soulful production-style, genre busting DJ-sets and bridging the gap between classical and dance music. In 2011, he was chosen to participate in Red Bull Music Academy (Madrid),
which was a notable booster on the path of his musical production.

His first album “Matches” drew international attention and was included in the shows of Gilles Peterson and Mary-Anne Hobbs from BBC1. His EP “TIKS 068” led him to win the Estonian Music Award for
Best Debut Album as well as for Best Electronic Album in 2019.

Sander has co-written a ballet, he has written music for two theatrical plays and taken the stage at various festivals and concerts. Some of his latest co-writes include singles “San Francisco” and “Muhu Girl” with a successful Estonian pop artist NOËP and “Kui puus pöörleb” with Reket. He has produced full studio album, ‘Hands Around the Moon’ for an indie band Ewert and the Two Dragons and co-wrote ‘Saja Lugu’ with Erki Pärnoja.
